Single parents in the work force

 Being a single mom comes with many struggles and working is one of the hardest subjects we tend to deal with. Currently I am working a not ideal job because the hours are flexible and with not having a big support system, my job is the best I could do at the moment. Right now I work under forty hours a week due to one of my children not being able to be in daycare due to disability. So where does this put me?. Well it's puts me in a situation of low income for flexible hours, so I can at least make some form on income. Lack of job opportunities has really affected my ability to provid the life I want for my kids and myself. A year ago I had to move in with a family member due to increased rent prices and lack of affordable housing for low income people, so my three kids and I currently share one bedroom and it's tough. Lack of job opportunities for single parents affect ever aspect of out lives. It's a hardship most of us wouldn't wish on a single soul.
